Holoiso

Holoiso est un outil permettant de créer des images de système d'exploitation personnalisées et amorçables basées sur SteamOS 3 pour une installation sur du matériel autre que le Steam Deck. Il utilise une base Archiso Linux pour générer des images disque installables qui reproduisent l'expérience de jeu portable sur des appareils génériques.

Le projet permet la création d'une distribution orientée jeu, dotée d'une interface pilotée à la manette et de la possibilité de basculer entre un environnement de bureau standard et une session de jeu. Il inclut des shaders haute performance pour la mise à l'échelle de l'image à l'échelle du système, afin d'équilibrer la qualité visuelle et le taux de rafraîchissement dans l'interface de jeu.

Le système gère le déploiement automatisé des images via des scripts d'installation et gère les logiciels via des dépôts de paquets configurés et des miroirs officiels. Il prend également en charge les tâches d'architecture système de base telles que la compression du système de fichiers et la configuration des paquets d'amorçage.
