Openpilot este un sistem de asistență a șoferului open-source care se integrează cu unitățile de control ale vehiculului pentru a oferi direcție, accelerare și frânare automate. Funcționează ca un middleware de robotică auto, utilizând un mediu de runtime specializat pentru a procesa datele senzorilor și a executa comenzi de control în timp real care gestionează dinamica vehiculului.
