Stringer

Stringer este un cititor RSS și server de agregare a fluxurilor auto-găzduit. Acesta colectează și organizează conținutul din fluxuri RSS la distanță, permițând curarea personală a conținutului fără influența algoritmilor sociali.

Sistemul funcționează ca un furnizor API RSS, expunând o interfață compatibilă care permite aplicațiilor de citire terțe să sincronizeze conținutul și stările de citire pe mai multe dispozitive.

Backend-ul include agregare bazată pe polling pentru a ingera actualizări din fluxuri XML la distanță și un manager de ciclu de viață al conținutului care utilizează curățarea datelor bazată pe timp pentru a elimina automat articolele vechi sau citite din baza de date.
