Overtone

Overtone este o bibliotecă Lisp de sinteză audio care oferă un mediu programabil pentru proiectarea sintetizatoarelor și generarea de sunet în timp real. Servește ca framework de procesare a semnalelor digitale pentru programarea sunetului live, integrând un manager de mostre audio pentru preluarea și stocarea sunetelor din depozite externe și un generator de secvențe muzicale pentru compunerea structurilor melodice și ritmice.

Proiectul se distinge prin interfețele sale specializate pentru hardware și rețelistică, având un sistem dedicat pentru rutarea datelor MIDI și schimbul de mesaje Open Sound Control între software și hardware extern.
