Mtail

mtail este un extractor de metrici bazat pe log-uri și un agent de monitorizare a seriilor temporale. Acesta funcționează ca un parser de tipare pentru log-uri, care transformă textul nestructurat din log-uri în date numerice structurate pentru monitorizare, fără a necesita modificări ale codului sursă original.

Instrumentul operează ca un pipeline de telemetrie de tip „push”, agregând metricile extrase în memorie înainte de a le transmite către endpoint-uri de monitorizare și baze de date de serii temporale.
