Rainbond

Rainbond is a Kubernetes-native application platform that deploys and manages containerized applications through a graphical interface, abstracting Kubernetes complexity so users can work without needing to learn Kubernetes commands or concepts. It provides a complete application lifecycle management system covering development, architecture, delivery, and operations from a single unified web interface, with automated workflows that handle cluster provisioning, application deployment, and ongoing management.

The platform distinguishes itself through its application marketplace, which packages applications as reusable templates for one-click installation, upgrades, and multi-environment distribution across multi-cloud, private, and SaaS environments. It builds and deploys applications directly from source code in Java, PHP, Python, Golang, and Ruby without manual containerization, automatically detecting project languages and build tools to compile, package, and containerize applications. Rainbond also converts existing traditional applications into cloud-native containerized services without code changes by auto-detecting language types.

The platform includes built-in service mesh governance for microservice architectures, providing service discovery, dynamic routing, and circuit breaking through a visual interface. It offers one-click deployment of pre-configured, production-ready middleware components with automatic storage and credential setup, and supports multi-data center orchestration for scheduling and migrating application groups across tenants or data centers with full backup and recovery capabilities. The platform is available under the GPLv3 license, with commercial licenses available for non-compliant usage.
