Acest proiect oferă un set de reguli pentru blocarea reclamelor pe iOS, constând în liste de filtrare a traficului de rețea și filtre de conținut bazate pe proxy. Funcționează ca o colecție de reguli de rescriere și scripturi concepute pentru a intercepta și modifica cererile de rețea, eliminând reclamele din aplicațiile mobile.
Sistemul utilizează scripturi de modificare a răspunsurilor HTTP pentru a altera corpul răspunsurilor de rețea. Dincolo de blocarea reclamelor, aceste scripturi permit traducerea conținutului în aplicații, cum ar fi afișarea versurilor traduse în aplicațiile de muzică.
Setul de reguli folosește un motor de potrivire a modelelor bazat pe expresii regulate și metacaractere pentru a identifica cererile de rețea vizate. Acesta operează printr-un proxy local pentru a intercepta traficul, a aplica filtrarea bazată pe rescriere și a redirecționa sau bloca anumite endpoint-uri.
