Azurelinux

Azure Linux es un sistema operativo Linux de propósito general optimizado para máquinas virtuales y contenedores dentro del entorno cloud de Azure. Funciona como un sistema operativo cloud reforzado, diseñado para reducir la superficie de ataque en despliegues en entornos virtualizados y plataformas bare-metal.

El proyecto utiliza un sistema de compilación de Linux declarativo que emplea superposiciones de configuración para modificar los paquetes de la distribución. Este enfoque permite personalizar los componentes del sistema y generar especificaciones de paquetes sin necesidad de hacer un fork de la fuente upstream.

La distribución abarca el endurecimiento de la infraestructura cloud y la gestión de especificaciones de paquetes. Se integra con herramientas de compilación de Linux estándar a través de un pipeline compatible con upstream para producir paquetes de distribución personalizados e imágenes cloud reforzadas.
