13ft

13ft ist ein Web-Content-Unblocker und Proxy-Dienst, der dazu entwickelt wurde, eingeschränkte Artikel und hinter Paywalls liegende Webseiten abzurufen. Er funktioniert durch die Emulation von Suchmaschinen-Crawlern, um auf Volltextinhalte zuzugreifen, die ansonsten hinter Abonnements oder Kontoanforderungen gesperrt sind.

Der Dienst nutzt Crawler-Mimikry und Header-Spoofing, um Suchmaschinen-Bots zu imitieren, was hilft, Anti-Scraping-Mechanismen zu umgehen. Er verwendet zudem proxy-basiertes Content-Fetching und Fallback-Request-Routing, um regionale Einschränkungen und blockierte Antworten zu umgehen.

Zusätzlich enthält das Tool eine lokalisierte Weboberfläche, die den Text der Benutzeroberfläche basierend auf System-Locale-Variablen übersetzt, um regionalen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden.
