Tale

Tale ist eine selbstgehostete Blogging-Plattform und ein Content-Management-System, das mit Java erstellt wurde. Es fungiert als Markdown-Publishing-System, das leichtgewichtiges Markup in strukturierte Webseiten rendert und Posts sowie Metadaten zur Portabilität und für einfache Backups in einer eingebetteten Datenbank speichert.

Das System zeichnet sich durch seine hochgradig anpassbare visuelle Ebene aus, die benutzerdefiniertes Skin-Design, die Installation externer Themes und die Entwicklung von Templates mittels strukturierter Asset-Verzeichnisse unterstützt.
