SwiftBar هو مخصص لشريط قائمة macOS ومراقب حالة قائم على الإضافات يعرض مخرجات النصوص البرمجية القابلة للتنفيذ وأوامر shell مباشرة في شريط قائمة النظام. يعمل كلوحة تحكم لنصوص shell، حيث يعرض البيانات في الوقت الفعلي ونتائج النصوص كعناصر قائمة تفاعلية وقوائم منسدلة.
يتميز المشروع بالعمل كواجهة أتمتة تتكامل مع اختصارات النظام ومخططات URL الخارجية لتفعيل الإجراءات وتحديث مؤشرات الحالة. ويدعم تثبيت النصوص التي أنشأها المجتمع وتعبئة أصول الإضافات المعقدة في مجلدات محلية.
