This project is a home automation controller that manages physical hardware and environmental sensors through a centralized gateway. It provides a unified system for toggling electrical relays, operating legacy electronics, and monitoring physical conditions like temperature and humidity.
The system distinguishes itself by integrating low-level hardware manipulation with remote accessibility features. It captures and replays infrared signals to control legacy appliances and uses direct pin toggling to manage connected electrical components. To ensure consistent operation, it maintains persistent socket connections to synchronize device states across multiple mobile clients in real-time.
The platform includes automated network management utilities that update domain records to maintain stable remote access despite changes to local network addresses. It is designed to be deployed as a server-side gateway that coordinates data acquisition from sensors and broadcasts live status updates to a cross-platform mobile interface.
